anyone ever perfect bound a book on their own? If so, what worked the best? Think I'm gonna give this a go so any advice would be awesome.
Thanks

A good set of clamps, some straight edge razor blades, a pair of stiff straight boards, and a PVA archival quality adhesive. Perfect binding well is not easy and takes practice. Find a book binder or restorer near you - usually they are the kind of people who are happy to answer questions on materials and processes and give you advice.

I used a guillotine to trim a perfect bound book and while the edges appeared very straight the interior graphics that bled shifted gradually throughout. I think I was the only one who noticed though. Otherwise it looked very professional.
