i think alla didn't understand that one is a critique of that trend while the other is an actual showcase of work. both of which are on a design blog showing various work and design-related things. so there's not really a point to be made here. Plus this discussion, especially that 'post' by craig oldham (as well as many others) has been discussed repeatedly for a while now. wonder how come 'the serif' only put that up now.

is it not meant in an ironic way? The same site showing the work is also showing the critique of that style of displaying work. That how I read it anyway...
