The arms in that first one kinda look like part of the design, so i'll allow it.

HAHA, Yeah, that first one isn't a poster Alla, that's the designer.

i think alla didn't understand that one is a critique of that trend while the other is an actual showcase of work. both of which are on a design blog showing various work and design-related things. so there's not really a point to be made here. Plus this discussion, especially that 'post' by craig oldham (as well as many others) has been discussed repeatedly for a while now. wonder how come 'the serif' only put that up now.

is it not meant in an ironic way? The same site showing the work is also showing the critique of that style of displaying work. That how I read it anyway...

i thought we achieved it showed scale.
but that's ironic.

ian, it could be but i also think that that site is just showing work they consider good/interesting regardless of how it's displayed.

Nah, I thought that it was simply the fact of these two piece being shown on one page (an act of serendipity) that was ironic and so, thread worthy here. imo

Anyway, alla, defend yer own bleedin' post ye big shitehawk!

That is exactly what I wanted to point out... some people here just didn't get it. It was simply the fact of these two piece being shown on one page... anyways. have a good weekend and try being happy.
