Losing clients

Sucks, I was just informed by one client that he will no longer require my services since the company will have some inhouse to do the job. Another agency I freelance to confirmed last week that its biggest client was bought by a bigger company, therefore they (the agency) might lose that client, which indirectly is my biggest client. All this in the slowest two months of my career since many years ago.

the truest thing anyone ever told me was "you will lose every client you ever had"
- the quote i heard is "the minute you land a client is when you start losing them. The best you can do is to hold on to them as long as possible."heavyt

I'm wondering if it's because I never meet the deadlines.

- I guess you're right. I never met the deadlines from the start, it can't possibly be a reason.********

I have an interview next week with a big agency for a full time gig, if that leads to nothing I'm gonna sell Avon and meet a lot of hot MILFs

Hot MILFs on a budget is what you'll get peddling Avon.
Why not just go work at the cosmetics counter at your local Neiman Marcus. That's where all the pretty chicks are.

In all honestly, I cannot find any reason why it shouldn't be such a noble activity in practice as it is ethically and emotionally.
- sad joke, sorry. I missed the 'biggest client' part.********

have you tried showing up at their door with a gift basket unannounced?
