if that A4 on the far right is how it's gonna look - NICE!
- and - What a lot of work!!o, and I get it.. saucy.. her undies.. ha!
- See, the A4 is nicer becuase I started to rush the A1 version to get it done. Then I said "No, take your time".Spookytim

Yes Yes, alright... goddness me. Well, I have some excuses to offer really, more than an actual illustration. I started doing a piece but had to go to Amsterdam to be breifed up on a massive project, so I firstly didn't have enough time to progress it and secodnly WONT have any time for another two months. So the only thing I can offer is the 'work in progress' which I admit is very shit as well as being so badly photographed that you can hardly see it.
The problem is that the sketch, although very very bad, has the underpinnings of a quite good piece of large format artwork. I am going through a very patterny, highly detailed phase of pencil drawing so the basic shapes are not the piece, just the underpinnings of it. So here are my underpinnings, and when I'm through with my commercial work, I will transform it into a masterpiece, do you hear me A MASTERPIECE!!! MUA-HAHAHAHAHAHAHA.
On the left is an A4 scribble to show what I'm drawing, on the right is a quick snap of the A1+ huge version, which will consist entirely of very finely drawn repeat patterns that fold around the forms and shapes, so she ends up looking like a sort of full length tattoo/painted lady.
And the sauce bit, see, is that she's showing her underwear...which is very saucy, see? SAUCY! HA! Its.. shes... her underwear is on show.
You have to be English really.
- i think its her lewd and 'saucy' flaunting of her ample neck meat what has my heart and groin all aflutter734
- honestly though, shame we wont see the finished piece anytime soon734
- The neck is meant to be very long, the head a little big, like a china doll....Spookytim
- ...all last week though she had a head like a zepellin and I learned its not easy...Spookytim
- ... to be deliberately disproportionate to an acceptable degree.Spookytim
- wemens head to big... it all falls into place734
- can't wait to see it when its finishedComplexfruit

No, sorry, I badly worded my post. I was trying to say it doesn't have to be today as its an open-ended deadline. Mine wont be up today anyway, I had to go to Amsterdam yesterday visiting a client.
Of course, back in '06 when I first joined this forum (it was called NT back in '06 of course) things were always a little more, ah... punctual than they seem to be these days. But like I say, that was back in '06, when I first joined... back in '06.
Yepppppp, been here a while now.
Hey n00bs. Welcome.

Was that today? Um... I'm a little behind on this one too, I forgot about Valentine's day. I'll have something ready by Sunday latest, maybe today if work is slow. Put up the sketch, I like seeing before/after/process.

So, its Friday, we've an open-ended deadline for this one.
I have a sketch that I'm very happy with but I'm probably going to want to work on it for longer becuase I like the sketch so don't want to rush it - could be a portfolio piece. Therefore I'll more than likely be submitting a rough sketch as my contribution.
Anyone ready to show their sauce today?
