Anyone got any experience with www.come2bcn.com?
The apartments look nice and the prices sound pretty reasonable...

Stupid question mark... think it still works though.

I found a great, affordable place a couple months ago here –

Email me, I go there at least once a year, will pass you good emails I gathered. How many people should the apt. suit btw?
I met 2 designers, an Australian and a Canadian there who have really good places for rent. The are great people to deal (and sometimes party) with and the prices are very reasonable.
If you have a little more to spend and want to be blown away by a stunningly renovated gothic building and enter the apt directly from the elevator, check out apt. Corders from http://www.apartmentsinbarcelona… - note the top floor one comes with a roof balcony.Plus, I remember reading bad reviews about come2bcn.

Well, it will be at least 2 (me and the missus) but could potentially be 4 or 6...
I guess that means it doesn't have to be an apartment, but I thought for some of those prices it still works out good value, I mean – you can get 1 bedroom apartments so how does that compare against hotels. An apartment is going to be more private, right?

It sure will be more private and usually cheaper than a hotel. You get to experience the city as if you lived there. You get your own kitchen. It depends, some people just prefer hotels.
This is the Australian webdesigner's place:
http://www.barcelonaroom.com/det… - this is the only description of the apt. I can find now, but initially I found his own ad and can give you his email. He charges less than this site does. The apartment is a few steps from Urquell metro station which is well commuted and city-centre-walkable and breakfast at the bar next door was the cheapest I had in BCN ;)This is the Canadian designer's apt:

This one suits 2 or 4 and in case of an emergency possibly a double matress could be added (ask her). It is in the very centre, no more than half a minute walk from Placa Reial.Let me know and I'll email you their emails.
I have more links should these fail, but these are the ones I checked myself and can recommend.

http://www.private-homes.com/bar… was very quick to respond to any questions I had prior to booking the apartment. It was a very "personal" experience in the sense that I received calls needing to clarify any questions about the apartment and its location. Overall I would say they are a very professional and accommodating apartment booking service. I would recommend them! Apartments are a much better way to experience Paris than hotels.
