I am building a site with an external style sheet that has unused styles in it. Is there a way to have Dreamweaver delete the unused code?
I cant figure it out and I know there has to be an easier way to go about it, rather then just doing it by hand.
Thanks

No there isnt.
Someone should write something like that.

I might be a little obvious in stating this..
But because you named yourself 404 on here, your profile is the '404' page.

was that intentional?

should I give it a try? Shouldn't be too hard. Just compare the stylesheet with the elements' ids/classes on the page.- Please do give it a try, it would be a useful resource for sure.jamble

It seems some tools are available for the job, check out this plugin for firefox.

Can't vouch for it but I'm going to give it a go.

Why not just go into the source and delete it manually?

ok, I didn't get round to making it, but I did find someone who did..it's a firefox extension that records a list of all unused CSS selectors, even when you switch pages
