I have just completed stage 1 of a website / identity project for a design company, now live at www.liberation-design.com
after testing it on a few peeps it seems that there is not enough guidance to use the 'what can we do together' navigation system... see what you think, any ideas on improving this / general crit would be greatly appreciated...
ta guys

id get rid of the intro before the pre-loader.. or perhaps have the intro play while it pre-loads if you must have it..
to be honest i find the flash used i this to be very basic and hard to justify the use of it, it could work better as static html?
however , i do like the concept i just dont think its executed very well

i kinda like how it works, the odd one out for me is 'can (you expect from us)' ... doesn't read right like the other options. maybe you should think about unifying the 'what we can do together?' with the elements that slide in - they visually look different which doesn't help with connection between the words being navigational items and where they lead to

some constructive critique:
it's quite a big load, seems to take a bit too long for my taste.
I'm not sure about the colour, but I'm no big fan of lemony greenish things.
have you tried centering the frame? or to loose the light grey frame altogether?
don't forget to replace the index header before you upload, i hate it when people do that.
the logo in the upper right corner kinda annoys me, don't know why
other than those things, it's nice

hmmm, ok, first skip the intro part, people rarely wait to see it,
the logo is readable but not clear,
you should make one of the menu at the top load so the visitor know that the phrase on top is an actual menu, I'm not sure the entire type is a good layout, maybe its just me,
ps: center it

it's supposed to read 'what can you expect from us' but i get ya...

The content (the big type that appears after you click the nav) should work the same way as the nav in that when you click it the extra info that appears stays, The whole rollover gets kinda annoying and is not overly obvious for me, definitely not a site I want to visit 1st thing on a Monday morning when my brain is doing a Fouty.

hmmm... i've seen that style of logo somewhere before...

It wasn't the easiest thing to navigate... though it was easy, but perhaps not for people who aren't used to navigate annoying flash sites!
Looks good though.

make it fullscreen...

Kill the frame and align top left, No padding and margin, would look better then centering as the nice typography is aligned left. Everything on the left is great, but the paint splash and logo don't work on wider/larger screens.

get rid of intro and incorporate it into the preloader.
it would be nice fullscreen :)
when homepage initially loads, have the "what can we do together" maybe flash/flicker as green to let you know that youve to interact with it. thats all it needs, without leaving instructions for users.
alternatively you could animate a simplified version of this in the preloader so people see how to use the site before it even loads.from a typography point of view - either get your "big words" to line up with the navigation or bleed them off the left of the page. they are annoying me being misaligned :P
good use of skills to do something a wee bit unique though

Coincidence or "inspired"?
-----*ouch!*
yeah, see , notice they have the wee glint thing on their nav to show you what to do.

Takes to long to load. I'd move away from all the flash and only really use it for elements.

feels bland; took too long to load; took me forever to find the portfolio section.

don't mind the navigation, different than most, but for a company named liberation design you should start by liberating the content of the site and go full screen.

I agree with losing the intro, not well done & doesn't add to the site.
The nav is interesting, but a bit off & seems odd it loads above hello, you think it would below hello, since the question follows the greeting. It gets to be a bit much to access the content after each section has to load the large section titles then you have to rollover the title to get a sentence - if what you're saying is relevant make it more accessible.
