  has anyone been on this tour in the states? did you find it useful and what was yr level before you went?

  yeah went last october. Picked up a couple of good tips for better practices when writing classes. The class is basically a walkthrough of his zoo project in the essential as 3 book.

  I had read some of his as3 book it is really easy to understand. However if you cannot grasp the concepts in his book when reading it, watching him explain an 8 hour class where glancing over topics is not going to help you much. I think people would have benefited more from a longer q&a session.

  m actually 3/4 through that book right now, its extremely thorough! though it wasnt after all that zoo stuff i began to understand it properly, the zoo chapters was just confusing
