    ...McNulty and Lester are out of their minds creating a serial killer...

    ... Marlow's attempting to work out some protection w/the Italians...

    ... cops have no budget and local politics are a mess...

    ... this is shaping up to be a great season. :)

    I thought I had missed what he said to Omar at the end. That is the best explanation. I kind of spaced out on that one. I loved season 4 when they got into the school system. I was thinking this season was going slow comparitively. I think you're right that it is shaping into something big now.

    I liked Prop Joes line 'it aint easy civilizing this muthafuka.'

    Bunk's hilarious... (i called him 'bump' earlier... again - forgive my lack of typing/thinking as I write)

    ... NOW i'm watching ep 4 :)... the press is really starting to get into this season too.

    I'm kinda surprised that Lester's character is doing this... he's usually really clever and a leader in the group... this is an odd action for him.
