I totally missed the arrow buttons thing for a good three minutes, but perhaps I am stupid. Only more usability testing will tell for sure.

is it possible to stop the samples from floating around? What if you actually want to see some details?

very nice, but frustrating site.

As an illustrator with a really apalling self-made website and no online skills at all, I look at things like this and find myself completely torn bewteen awe and admiration (for the fact thats doing something different and is really intriguing), and confusion leading to frustration/dislike becuase once you're over the novelty of it, it doesn't actually enhance the user experience at all. I think its great and I enjoyed the experience for a little while, but I think as it is, it would have to be its own content, as a piece of online art, rather than a vehicle for anything practical.

I got seesick dude!

good works but the presentation is kinda annoying by the images floating around. all i wanna see is just a big and clear work sample itself...

it looks like you might have really good work if I could focus long enough on any image and actually find it. Interesting site and pretty but please make it work more conventionally

didn't understand the annoying moving about... if you're going to do that... at least have a reason... it's like in Police Academy when Steven Guttenburg has removed the Chiefs eye brows, and the bloke tries to show him them drawn back in, but keeps moving the mirror about.

That's it. Now I am pissed for the rest of the day!!!
THANKS A LOT

Can I just ask.... back int he old days pre the dotcom boom when nobody really knew what the hell to put on the internet, there used to be a lot... a REAL LOT of weird immersive environments around on the web. Odd little worlds and things that you'd click on to go a bit deeper, and there wouldn't really be any point to it, just a lot of exploration and demonstration of people's skills and leanings I guess. I really used to love the internet back then. It was pre-Google too so there was no structure to finding anything. Everyone had links pages and you'd have to leap about the internet from one recommendation to the next via the links pages.
is there any of that work going on out there anymore? Only I haven't enjoyed a weird artsite for years now. The last one was some guy who had created a world of evolving marine biology and each time you eat another animal you change and grow and sink deeper down... have you seen that one?
Wherer are all the artsites?

that site is a waste of time, it tells the user nothing other than making them doubt their hand-eye coordination. over-killed IMO.
