Just found out about it today. I don't know how long this is already running in the US, but I think this just brilliant marketing. I do give a lot of 'stick' about americans and their 'lifestyle', but again this brilliant!

Nearly 8 minutes? That's a long commercial...

it's really funny. for tv it's edited, obviously, but gives you the link to the site.

cp+b is pretty great

I don't think the whopper is that great

Whoppers are so huge (probably why it's named that). I remember getting one a few years ago (because I hadn't eaten one in ages) to try it out and I couldn't handle it. It's over portioned and probably filled with junk, but it tasted great. Most likely because of all the high fructose corn syrup packed inside. I'm glad I don't eat that stuff anymore.

that campaign is awesome. the brand experience dialogue that the users naturally use as justification for why their own brand has it wrong is truly astonishing.

disturbing, bizarre, hideous... brilliant

this is comparable to the discovery of fire in its impact on civilization as we know it. stunning.

i think its fucking retarded.
just my opinion though.needs more sex/nudity.

Bloody hell, that shite

It actually has the opposite effect on me. I don't eat at fast food places already, but I wouldn't want to identify with the overzealous trans fat aficionados that angrily demand their sandwich.

i think it just points out how ingrained and neurotic our attitudes towards food has become. Can't have any fucking meat and bread it's got to be a Whopperâ„¢. The same damn thing from my childhood or it's worth nothing.

my fav crispin campaign is when they ran ads of hunky dudes in soft-snuggly sweaters, holding puppies and a bottle of molson in womens magazines.
they then coupled that ad campaign with ads in maxim explaining to the fellas that they ran those ads in the womens mags. and the next time they are at the bar all they need to do is walk around with a molson and they were in those pannies!
loved that shit, fuckin brilliant

i guess they had their effect on you. For me it was more boring then watching the paint try. Actually i closed the window 10s into it (as i saw 30s TV cut and was bored to death).

People at cp+b actually write in company wide memos that they are changing the face of culture and "impacting" social norms. I shit you not.

^wish i had the copies. Was at a dinner with a few folks from there. One of them held up their blackberry and said "holy fuck, you have to read this email. :)
