I was way back when they first started out, but then they got popular and suddenly I wasn't getting the new ones near as quickly. or I was being "throttled". then I moved into a cave on a mountainside with no postal service.

I love Netflix. I don't have to leave my house and that shit comes to me. I think the first month I had Netflix I watched something like 22 movies and was so proud that I paid less than an dollar per movie that month.
Best of all, I don't have to deal with Blockbuster; what a fucking unorganized operation that is. And fuck their total lack of customer service. Unfortunately, those morons figured out that they could compete with Netflix and make money off of their business model.
- i just got charged 4$ for new release & 4$ for a release from 2002
how the fuck can they do that ?traut

Seems that Blockbuster lost money when trying to compete with Netflix. I was with Blockbuster up to this month because of the ability to rent unlimited movies from the store (in exchange for the dvd mailers), but now they've limited it to 2-3 exchanges a month AND added $2. All this while noticing that movies were taking longer to "return" to their store and thus new movies came later.
Signed up for Netflix now for cheaper and the ability to watch movies online from their site.

Probably one of the least environmentally destructive businesses around.(mass mail via postal service, reusable packaging and product). Not saying they're perfect but pretty low impact.

I'm not allowed to rent at blockbuster anymore... so yeah, netflix rocks
