Cologne, December 19th, 2007 - The Online Design Magazine www.designspotter.com will curate yet another show at the upcoming imm 2008. The young designer market is alive and kicking and DESIGNSPOTTER contributes to the design scene with its skills as communicator.
PREVIEW: 4 weeks to go! - DESIGNSPOTTER proudly presents: Our FAB FIFTY!
DESIGNSPOTTER wouldn’t be called DESIGNSPOTTER if there wasn’t something new in the making after the successful premiere in 2007.
Within the scope of imm the third edition of the event for young creatives is launched, sporting a new outfit and a new location. The Future Point trilogy: [d³]schools, [d³] contest and [d³] professionals will remain independent formats within the [d³] design talents event.
Cologne has been chosen to be the playground for design between the 14th and the 20th of January 2008.

For the first time DESIGNSPOTTER made an appearance in cooperation with Koelnmesse at the imm Cologne 2007. 350sqm and 44 young designers were the secret of our ultimate success. The feedback from visitors and the media was phenomenal and exceeded all our expectations.We had the attention of dozens of television-teams, thousands of interested visitors and buyers and almost no time left, because in...
* May 2007: "X:file" competition by DESIGNSPOTTER and pulpo
The products made of sheet steel and cardboard knocked our socks off. That’s why it was terribly hard to choose a winner. With Professor Peter Raacke’s support we were finally able to select the two winners who were then awarded 1000€ at Tendence in Frankfurt.And soon thereafter pulpo could travel to London with a few more products in its pockets.
*September 2007: Our Show @ TENT London
A culmination of everything that rocks in international design. TENT London was fathered by the founders of 100%Design and 100%East. We had ten international designers with us and all we can say is that we rocked the UK’s design capitol.With an abundance of interesting impressions and exciting contacts we left TENT behind us only to start planning and organising the next big event in Cologne. The "FAB FIFTY"-Show in January is the current project we are working on with full steam!
Was there something else? Yeah, we’ve entered many quality media partnerships with Blickfang Zurich and Vienna, designbrussels, DESIGN WEEK Vienna and ... yes, we’ve also managed to cross the big pond, DESIGN Miami.
