I have a good friend who does illustration/design in New York. His name is Jery Millan-Perishon and he specializing in pen and ink drawings with close to 40 years of hand illustration experience. IMO, I think he is one of the last of the premiere 60s influenced illustrators around.
I've been very busy but I took a few moments to build him a quick, down and dirty, temporary website with a flash slide show of about 40 of his pieces to try and get him some work and he could use a solid gig or two. I know it's not that pretty but it was the fastest I could make the site.
We haven't finished his resume yet because there is so much to compress. But what I as curious was what you think of his work?? and might there be anything you would like to see different or more of??

it totally kills it when that thing pops up over the illustration.
site's kind of confusing and I have no control whatsoever of what I want to look at.
His Illustrations are great! the site isn't doing the work justice yet.
- agreed, he has sooooo much work I have no idea how to categorize and show it all..robotron3k

bookmarked the site.
i want to see all his work!made me think of http://www.sutnar.cz in terms of content structure, showing work by decade ... but that's just a first thought.

These illustrations are awesome. However, I wish there was some kind of UI or some way to navigate. That's going to kill a lot of visits to the site.

As you can tell Jery is much more "senior" level than most of us on the QBN board. I've been teaching him how to use the computer over the last couple of years as well, so I just hope one of you young hot shot designers might be able to hire him for one of your projects this coming year! hint. hint. Thanks for checking it out, will make some significant changes...

You're gilding the lilly a little bit... you'd be better off with a Dan Eatock type site
- PS You just need an honest, simple method of interacting with the sitemimeartist
- ahhh GREAT idea!robotron3k
