5,000 years old.
8 centimeters tall.
Looks cooler than anything I've seen lately.

you can buy much newer item for much cheaper, especially if it's refurbished

"The piece was acquired by private collector Alastair Bradley Martin in 1948 and has been on display in New York's Brooklyn Museum of Art ever since."
it's cool you can "acquired" art from the middle east and sell it at Sothebys years later for a tidy profit.

Clearly QBN is a goldmine for women who are looking for candidates to marry.

just because it gets sold for that much, doesn't make it "one of the greatest works of art of all time"...
the art selling/auction world completely surpasses me...

its 5000 years old and it looks half way decent.. and its in good form. It's priceless, I guess I am not suprised people would buy it at that. Can you think how many generations of humans have even held that thing? its unimaginable. the timeline from it being made to now, that could write a tome the size of a set of encylcopedias I am sure.
