What the hell are those Torino mascots supposed to be?
I really like the Van mascots, even if they are obviously Japanese-influenced. As much as I'd have loved the branding to have a strong Haida influence, that's probably expecting too much in this day and age of cultural sensitivity and conflicts with First Nations groups...
All the bitching about 'Canadian identity' on the CBC forum is quite sad. It means the only thing those people would accept are Mounties and beavers. That's not the sign of identity, that's stagnation. Canada isn't white/European/1950s anymore.

Uh ... Sydney's were awful, I'm sorry. That's not how I remembered it at all.
Atlanta 1996 is horrific, I really only like Waldi from Munich 1972, and Cobi from Barcelona 1992, ahha.

I'm still kinda shocked the "committee" allowed the option to add mushrooms to an Olympic eCard.. only in BC... Meomi design musta been having a giggle.
Mukmuk is so not gonna pass the doping test.
