so i'm am having doubts about my website, might want something new in the near future, although i still like the current design:

what should go, and what should stay (designwise)?
note that i'm not using this site to get assignments or anything, it's all just for fun
any thoughts?

A (previous) (next) function would be super and make going through your images much better. Some really nice work in there.

that's the only function the site does have, and thanks

What kona said. Design-wise its nice and minimal, usability-wise its annoying to have to click on those tiny numbers.
- Ampersanderson0
I agree with Kona. I know there is a next/back button but it's small and not obvious. Clicking through a maze of tiny numbers to see work is highly frustrating. I personally like to simply click on an image to move forward in the group; saves time.
But the work is good...

since you're asking about design content, here are my thoughts. get rid of the following, not 'cause they're bad, but because it will further highlight all the other work. I really think you've got some good stuff in there.
Omit: 8, 10, 14, 20, 35, 37, 38, 50, 52, 58, 60, 63, 67, 73, 75, 84.

i agree on most of those, and probably a bit more than those... might make an archive of some sort

Have you not posted this before?
Type needs to be bigger and readable

possibly categorising the shots by subject type might help, though I haven't been through enough of them to say for sure if its necessary.
I agree on the tiny mubers nav, not liking that much.
Design-wise the site does everything it needs to ie. fuck all. The images are the important thing.

- aye, it probably is the girl right enough.kelpie

gorgeous work, as usual! i agree with the omissions that ampersanderson highlighted. and big prev/next arrows would be useful for diddies. like me.

You always have great photos up.
As mentioned above, I think a "previous" and "next" button (or something equivalent) would be useful. I was troubled by the same issues while making my current design, and added these buttons (in the form of arrows). But I think all my excessive scripts to display my photographs are bogging down the site.

Maybe reduce the content as suggested but, design wise leave it, works fine IMO, your shots are great!

love your work!
Prev / next buttons would be good, maybe more white (black) space around the photos?

Milan, come on :P
Lots of people helped around here. There were lots of humourous posts, but you'd be surprised at how helpful people were if you had enough of them posting in your thread. It all depends. I see your points, but I think it's easier to say that people are more helpful when you can actually see every post rather than having to click on everyone's name (and people didn't read all the posts anyway, whereas here it's easier to read everything).Anyway, I should stop sidetracking :)

What everyone's said about the nav (prev/forward btns)... do it...
... maybe trim out some of the 'filler' imagery that's just eye-candy... stick w/the images that are unique/conceptual/provoking...
... there's just too many to look at imho.
Perhaps you can break it up into thinner galleries... so it's not so overwhelming... or archive some stuff.

i've listened and i've learned......
haven't changed much, some photo's are gone and some new ones have been added....
broke it up in a few sections and added a little gray to the visited photo's
the prev/next function is now placed loose from the photo's which should make it more visible, i didn't want to make it bigger (tried it, it was ugly) and I didn;t know how to place it beneath the photo's
thanks for all the kind words
anything else?
