Site I am working is hogging the server. I have caching installed on the server, that does no good. Any suggestion how I can speed the drupal shit up?

Also can anyone point me to a good drupal tutorial on setting up sites? Drupal wiki is terrible I my opinion.

I really dislike drupal, but I have no choice here.

how much RAM does the server have? if it's super slow you're probably using all your RAM and it's swapping to disk.

also- try disabling the stats module, that's a big CPU hog

    • It's a shared hosting box. I am thinking about moving it to a dedicated box. And yes the stats module is installed.cosmo
