i have a vector logo created in illy that i am saving as an eps and then importing into indesign, but when i do there is a white background to it, ive tried playing with the colorrs but cant seem to get it to change, i have to keep it as an linked file because the logo may change and there is to be quite a few instances of it.
Any ideas?
Cheers

Doesnt seem to work, but ive tried importing the illy file as just a straight .ai and that seems to work and not have the background. Id still like to find out if there is any way od getting rid of it on eps files though!
cheers

Did you create these yourself?
Indesign is tailored to work with AI, so best is to save to .ai, when exporting your Indesign file to say, pdf, it'll be merged to a compatible file anyway.

You're welcome.

Just copy and paste it.

changing the preview settings on export of the eps to Tiff 8 bit color with transparent checked would have worked.
