Any speed improvements / problems with OSX Leopard on Macbook Pro ??

Seems to be about the same for me ...

The system seems faster to me. Maybe starting up is a little slower but for the rest... superb.
I love it.

it felt slower at first.. i even got a few mouse-lag type of issues but now (a weekend later) it seems to be fine and a few apps look like they start faster.
good stuff

At least it seems to be pretty stable ...

After a full backup and clean install, my system screams... Everything is very noticeably faster.

I'm seriously thinking in upgrading but... have heard that some programs are not working that well with leopard. I even read somewhere that dude had some issues with photoshop, although I don't know exactly what the issues were.
Any of you experiencing problems at all with some programs?

works fine for me. adobe apps and all.
seems snappier with some functions, but overall - about the same.

Yes.
My Quicktime now won't work since upgrading (10.5+7.3). AT ALL. Quicktime Player quits on launch.
ALso, because Quicktime won't work properly, none of my other video conversion apps work properly.
Plus it takes three minutes to empty the trash.
Oh, and I automatically connect to my PS3 wireless network even though it's not on.

works better than tiger on my PowerBook...

I think it's because I actually bought it this time instead of just downloading it... just my luck.

it rocks.

Oh, and connecting to servers via the finder window doesn't fucking work properly.
>:(
Roll on update #1.

Constant app crashes. Particularly Firefox and iTunes.

This happened after I loaded it on my wife's old G4 ibook. Admittedly it has the bare minimum spec required but still...

(Nov 12 07, 22:55)oh hold on there.. I had something similar happening.
Are you installing the actual Leopard CD you buy at the stores, or the one that came with your computer?
- JerseyRaindog0
One I bought at a shop. I ran disk utilities first and it did work. This happened after about a week. It'\s back up and running now but I intend to back up, zero the disk and install from scratch soon. She only uses it to surf the internet so there's nothing important on there really.

I see..
I know there is people here running it on G4s...Not sure what it could be..
Have you tried the apple forums?
