Competition Question

    Hey...just wondering. If I have work I did while freelancing for a well-known entertainment company and my designs were not what they ended up using, can I still submit the work into competitions? Is that ethical? As long as I call it a "proposed" design? New to competitions so any input would be helpful.

    most competitions [if you mean awards] usually require that the work has been published/online or at least used/purchased by the client in some form... if you mean competitions like designing a tshirt or whatever they usually stipulate that the work entered be originally made for the competition, but I suppose that's something only you would ever really know...
