Hello All...
I'm designing some menus for a DVD in After effects. I have made a medium sized box the parent to a piece of text that sits over top of the box (this unit will become a button eventually once brought into DVD studio pro)
I'm having some weird issues with the visbility of the text (over top of the box) flickering on and off. Well not completely off, just dimming significantly. I'm doing a simple 3D flip of the box and text, no opacity animation whatsoever. Although I have noticed that my parent box does have an 84% opacity, and is set to multiply... which might be a problem??
Although I'm not sure what the problem is... it appears to me that some how their depths are getting swapped momentarily and the box is over top of the text just for a split second.
Hopefully this has all made sense, and I appreciate any help you can offer
Thanks!

So if you are flipping things over in 3D space, wouldn't the box then be on top of the text? Or, they are so close, they are wigging out a bit?

Hmmm.. you might be onto something with the wigging out.
They're kind of flipping from an angle where you can't see anything but a 1 pixel (the bottom edge) to a flat view of the box.
I'll try moving the text away from the box... cause really the flickering is quite random and appears to be a glitch. Thanks harlequino
