I need help with some messaging to encourage users to check their spam box for emails from our site.
Seen any good examples of clear messaging to make sure users look in the junk box?
(yes we're working hard to avoid the junk box altogether, but emails still get filtered there occasionally anyway.)

On site
"CHECK FOR OUR MAIL IN YOUR SPAM BOX"
On email
"THIS IS NOT A SPAM"

Your going to need to pay a copywriter a helluva lot of money for them to solve that one...

At the bottom of the "thank you for signing up for newsletter" and at the bottom of each email/newsletter say something like .....
To make sure your future emails dont end up in your junk folder, be sure to add us as a friend or trusted sender in your email application.
get someone to word it better though lol

Yeah, I'm thinking something more visual ... on the site, before they get their email... something to put it in their heads to remember to check their junk box.
I suppose that's what I was looking for from you all. A way to visually drug users into automatically remembering.
