hiya! i'm looking for good examples of more design studio oriented business plans. i think have most the content we need but some extra input would be welcome :)

I think this request is kinda funny. In your business plan, do you have, do what other business' do?
If you know the overall format of how to put together a plan, all the content should be your own. It's a living doc, it will change as you grow. Don't worry what other companies are planning, just concentrate on what you are going to do.

That's like saying "just focus on your own work" about design though. Obviously there's things you can learn and pick up from people who are doing something in the saem feild. I know what you mean, every business is different, but at the same time are you going to tell investors or someone that you're business is completely original and unlike every other business doing the same thing? There's got to be a set of basic standards and points that must be met in the plan to make it as comprehensive and relevant as possible...I'm thinking about it myself and would also like some points of reference.

I'm with m0neycide on this one. And if we were to come across a pattern that a lot of plans seemed to have, we'd try and move away or alter that in some way. Unless its something like... the introduciton is at the front for example, we might want to keep that aspect :P
