Aquatic Fly Larvae

It might look like some kind of bizarre horned creature, but this image actually shows the tail end of an Atherix ibis larvae. This aquatic fly, known colloquially as the watersnipe, lays its eggs in freshwater and looks decidedly less interesting as an adult.- KILL ITernexbcn
