Has anyone heard of the easter egg in Google Earth for the built in Flight Simulator?
Timeline me if this is old hat.

There is a command that will access a Flight simulator. It's actually kinda creepy if you think about it.

ok i really want no more developments.
i'm a conservative sort of person. i like alchool.

Yes. It's quite amusing - I've been flying around like a demon since I started using the touchpad on the laptop.
The temptation is always to attempt a full circumnavigation - but I shan't. It'd take bloody hours.

I havent flown anything today, whats the secret?

I remember a weird easter egg in excel 97' that allowed to to fly around a very poorly rendered mountainous planet. There was a plateau that scrolled the excel dev's names. Fantastic.

I had a dream. Google will have e-mail one day. 2 gigs per head.
It will change the way we interact with one another at least.
At last.

Yeah, right.

rumours i know...

I don't think a search engine will ever have email, that's just too weird.

Command + A (mac)
CTRL + ALT + A (pc)
- Raniator0
Sweet. That did absolutely fuck all! :)
- Witt0
holy macaroni - it's true.
you need v4.2 though.
- Raniator0
Nope, can't get it to work.
Got v4.2
- Nairn0
Try just 'Ctrl+A', then. That's what I need to press on my two machines.

any cool 3d buildings to crash into?
- Nairn0
You can't crash in to them and the refresh rate is abysmal/peculiar.
Whilst flying over New York, for instance, buildings close in front of you will just disappear for no good reason. Still, stick them on and amplify the topography and you can have a good fly around.
Like someone in the other thread suggested, it's worth a jape around the Grand Canyon.
