Hello, i need help!
I have created a simple website using xhtml and css and am now handing over to a more techy person to add contribute to it... but they have now come back and said the site HAS to be made from dreamweaver templates... or at least a template... is that the case? the pages are all similar but im much rather not use a template.
Is it possible to lock areas and add editable areas to a site which was made from a template in contribute!?
any help would be great
cheers

yeah to make areas non editable it has to be set up as a dreamweaver template. If you know the people who are editing it tho, its just easier to say "dont touch the nav" etc.
Is it a big site?

hey kev, cheers for the reply, nah its not a big site, about 25-30 pages max.
what a nightmare, i have no idea how to use templates!

don't stress about the templates. if you have to use them it's just "beginEditableRegion", "endEditableRegion" tags.
like kev_ said, i didn't think you had to use them if your client isn't a psycho.
