CS3 Illustrator to CS2? 33 Responses

I'm sending off an .AI file to a printer, but they're claiming it can't be opened in CS2 because I made it in CS3.
I've utilized the worldly knowledge of Google to no avail; I just can't find an answer.
So, it is possible to "save down" to a specific version of Illustrator from CS3? The printer simply needs a layered vector format.

When you save, there is a dialog box that appears with a drop-down menu to select which version you want to save to.
