It's not a big deal, but it might be nice to be able to add sites without the code, and just have them omitted from the public index until they validate.

i have heard that comment before. Do you mean to add a site to the repository, in a sort-of 'holding' status, until a later time, when it would then undergo the validation process?
my to priority is to make sure that nobody is taking credit for work they didnt really do

when viewing other peoples sites, the open link might be the name instead of that tiny link next to the name
also, have that link open in a _blank window

Sort of like how Google Analytics or reinvigorate do it. You can add all the sites you want, but unless you can put the JS into the code, it's pointless.
