looks more trainer shop than funk band with metal and jazz influences. the pop i can see though.

I'd dig it as an industry logo - something scientific or academic... but I'm not sure about it as a logo for a funk band.
I'm not saying it's right or wrong, just that I'm unsure.
Useful, huh?

I don't see the jazz or metal. Not really the funk either. But I do see pop and happy places.

looks a little too polished for a funkmetaljazz band, needs more roughness to it

The kerning on the K and the Y makes it look like the sky logo

Love it... million times better than some of the shite people post.

yeah i kinda get that too, although i think its possibly the name itself is so scientific!,,, but i think it'll work really well on a bass drum and t-shirts etc...
does a funk band logo necessarily have to say 'funk'? maybe it does..

Yeah as a big funk/jazz/soul fan* and owning quite a few 45s it does say funk to me. and would like nice on the front of a bass drum!
*not that this makes me the oricale of all things funk! (just a perspective)

maybe continue the half circle all the way around to complete a full circle? ...my 2 cents.
at this point "Ride the funk rainbow" might be a great tag.

i forgot to say, as a mark it is quite nice though. just not convinced it fits the subject.

I agree wth everyone. I see the pop. And i MIGHT go as far as seein the "smooth" jazz if thats what you are goin for...but Funk, Metal i do not really see it. But all in all i like it. I think its well done jsut not for what you made it for...hope that helps
