Enter topic:Hi
I’m working overseas job for client in LA. I need to make logo and basic applications (memo, card, dvd sticker...). We come to the point of money. Client wants to know separate price for logo/logotype and for applications. I’ve never worked for someone from USA so please help me – what is the approximate price for this? One other thing – having troubles with font selecting/viewing/sorting/activa... ATM is not my option. Anyone know any good all in one pc (mac too) software? Or even close to this?
Thanks

My advice to you would be to establish a set price for logos & identities based on your standard set of three phases - i.e. I tend to work through the following process:
1. Initial logo roughs.
2. Work-up of two or three more finished routes.
3. Refinement of final logo.I charge €500 ($690 US approx.) for the logo itself & tend to work out a fair price for each application...
I recently worked on an identity project where I charged the fee for the logo & then charged for the letterhead (€125), compliment slip (€100) & business cards (€125) separately...
The client had no problem with that & was happy to pay...
Oh, and Linotype FontExplorer X is the one to go for...

I would go for the hairy monkey myself, the donkey is just so over rated these days.

i agree. the donkey's not a safe option, depending on age it can just become a drag.
