    I like it.
Thought the other one was horrible, embarassing really. And that the MLS team logos mostly need work (a few exceptions, TorontoFC, Colorado, NY)....

Add Beckham to the new logo and now they've got a blazing new branding machine... seriously

k, only questionable things are the lack of any 'soccer' theme in it, and possible overboard with the star trek style..heh...

Real Madrid made more than £300million during David Beckham's four years at the club. Madrid reportedly sold one million shirts within the first six months of Beckham's arrival

I hear yea. But i think in this rare case, its a good thing. this sport needs to get better in the US and in north america period, we need to find a reason to get to the level of the great futbol countries.

True, it needs to get better but it'll never be as popular as (Am) footbal or basketball. For starters there's not enough scoring and there are halves instead of quarters that last way too long.

On a tangent... my suggestion for basketball... give each team 100 points and let them play for three minutes. Then let them loose out front with handguns and brass knuckles with a soundtrack of third rate gangsta rap music.

I just want to be able to watch games on regular TV.. in HD at that. I wan to watch game highlights on ESPN.. not Fox Soccer Channel. I want to watch FA Cup finals without having to find the 2 hole in the wall pubs that are showing it and then pay $20 bucks at the door for a standing room only staring up at a 19 inch TV. Looking forward to that..

Wow so with Beckham joing LA Galaxy, addidas (who sponsor Beckham) become the new kit designers/sponsors, now that is brand power, however much hype this has generated and great it sounds it is still the equivalent of Beckham joining Oldham Athletic or some other 3rd Tier outfit.

He will not be the savour of football in America, it's just they the only club, daft enough to offer a 32 year old a deal worth £128m

Now if I'm wrong, I apologise and will hold my hands up, but I agree with 5timuli, I don't think people in Amercia will buy into a thrilling 0-0 draw!!!

sometimes I hate that most americans need goal/points/etc to be interested in a sport. Having played soccer my whole life, I have a love for the sport and how it's played. I hope he brings more attention to the sport here, which at this point, him and his wife have.
