  Yeah I quite like it, its not as clunky and heavy feeling as their last design. One small thing if I were calling the shots, perhaps a little more contrast b/n the background and the modules. Not much, just like 10% more in order to give the content modules a little visual hierarchy. As it is, my lcd is giving me some weird simultaneous contrasts, and it bugs my eyes out ever so slightly. Over all solid design!

  actually I really like rounded corners.. its not just a style thing, it helps delineates elements and focusses attention well.... or something.

  Nice work. Makes it easier to find my mindless celebrety chatter and tidbits of some war somewhere in the middle east. Thanks for spending the time to update it and not get more reporters into the field to bring the american public this thing the rest of the world calls news.
