Holding is a web negative sign. It shows a scaled and tactile world the web denies except with the keyboard the mouse the only things you touch with a computer. Same reason, I think, distressed fonts appear and reappear with frequency. Implied erosion implies tactility.
what was it about rand and the chinese restaurant and not using a chinese styled font? Same point. Why lean towards fakery when clarity delivers?
