A boring question but bear with me....I am designing a letter head and the standard set up for a letter is for the senders address to be on the right hand side. If I were to put the address on the bottom right corner like this....

how would you explain this to a client?
Cheers!

whos the client.. not who as in he exact client but what do they do...
sometimes its might be justified doin that, its just shaking up the rules a bit, ive done a few where the senders address is at the back and theres plenty of exaples of centered addresses and some are even only on the back or top left
it depends who ur doing it for.. if the client is v traditional then u might wnna think twie about it, it could be that the client wants to be a bitdifferent, of part of your concept dictates that the adress will be put in a different place or displaye in a diffeent way...
if ur just doing it for the sake of doing it.... then thats ur explanation right there ;)

Just say you want it to be different. But in a more professional manner.
