does the job... don't really see the need for clients logo rollovers though....
and if you find web design boring perhaps you're doing it wrong

... my comments were directed toward anyone putting Flash 'down' simply because they don't like it (which translates into: it's over their head or they're too lazy to suck it up and do a few tutorials, learn some scripting concepts & 'get to know' Flash)...... the same thing could be said to someone scared of DOM scripting... which is precisely what the kni site is... plenty of 'bells and whistles' from the javascript side - applied appropriately... and formated w/css.
... Key Point: be appropriate in how you use your tools.

lolz at being 'more into' css/html vs. flash... or vice-versa - I love building and problem solving in both... and you'll find (if you stop bitching about Flash... you know who you are.. ;)...)... that IF wandered around Flash enough - you see that it's veeeeeery much an object-oriented means of managing shit on-screen... but w/a shite-load more bells and whistles (if you need them)...
... they're both valid methods of putting shit online...

(Jun 6 07, 13:49)Part of that quote was mine, Pony, and yet I never said anything about flash sucking. I said that either one is fine, just that my personal preference is html. Doesn't mean I'm going to base a crit on just that - that would be lame.
I'm basing my positive comments about KNI around the fact that the site is a nice change from their previous design and shows off their work more than anything else. Doesn't have as much to do with flash vs. html as many people believe, but there are interesting prospects for both.

understood, Jaline... :)... wasn't meaning to be foul toward you...
...personal preference on this matter is fine as long as it's not borderline 'flash snubbing'...
... WHICH VERY MUCH OCCURS amongst our peer group. :)

This is just a personal memo - NOT DIRECTED @ ANYONE HERE!!!!!
My experience w/folks who get 'hung up' on one method of production...
...whether it be some Old Clown battling the Firm to keep using Quark... or someone 'snubbing Flash' because of the silly bad-rap it's gotten due to it's 'blingin' past...
... those folks make it difficult for 'new technology' to get fair play and continue to push it's 'bad rap'...... I like to call 'em 'fuddy-duddies'... you know... that 'ol dog who WON'T learn new tricks.'
:)
