i put all the emails i make for my company in one folder and it's sorted by the date like "070522-email-general.html" i have them back since 2003.

No, I actually meant the other way around, that's why I was confused by my own post.
I like things in order, and going by the date, and then the month, and then the year is in a better order compared to any other way. So 05-06-07 is my preferred way.
What I meant was, when writing out the entire date, I like putting the month first. So like this:
June 5th, 2007.
