plam .. you're just the everyday armchair critic who wasn't creative or confident enough to go into design but had somehow convinced yourself that you have an opinion that those who have worked hard and proven themselves should listen to. i believe it's described in one tidy little word .. 'wanker'.
the craft and typography is shit and it's way too busy but the campaign is interesting as i see what they're trying to do .. make it more modern and less "global fair" looking. i only wish they'd paid some attention to detail and given it more sophistication.
this is the last bit of attention i am paying you, plam. even though you're obviously starved for it.

i dunno seth, what about logos that end up looking like some sort of sex act?
are brand names supposed to grow to be so strong that people forget it looks like an adult receiving oral sex from a child?
or can we accept that there are both poor and well executed designs?
at some point we have to admit to ourself that the presence of nodes of a vector object does not a logo or a brand make.

did that logo get any press because of the way it is?

all style = just care about trying to be hip or some shit like that. lifeless. not organic. trying to hard to make something and yet failing in creating something meaningful.
:p

Some say the end is near.
Some say we'll see armageddon soon.

Sorry, it's monday morning and my sardony meter's running low, kelpie..
I'm just not sure that all agegroups across rest of the UK.. never mind the rest of the world ...will be hip to the retro excesses of some London-based agency. We're not talking 80s TOtP revivalism for London's irony-clad efnic youth - this is the 'lympic games, for crissakes.
I won't be happy 'til my Gran and my Queen are - I want Roman serif fonts, doilies and tea-stained steeping in the better bits of Brit nostalgia.
