go see a dr. some spider bites can have really awful ramifications if not treated quickly

are u sure it was a bug bite and not you poking yourself with a crack needle you left lying on your bed?

The worst part of summer, hands down, are the bugs. Mainly mosquitoes. This is the #1 reason why I hate gardening. And it's not because I'm squeamish about them. I just have a vivid imagination when it comes to bugs.
Since I live in Ottawa I don't have to worry about the heat too much.

P.S. If you notice any changes in your behaviour and/or physical appearance (mainly around the supposedly bitten area), get it checked out.
Spiderman jokes will definitely be made.

lol...oh and if your arm starts to disintegrate flesh-eating-bacteria style then it was a wolf spider and you're pretty much screwed.
jk...you wouldn't have lasted 14 hours if it were really serious. just have it checked out if it looks rancid

Also, watch Cabin Fever:

what did you do after he bit you? did you bite him back?

the thought of a spider biting me makes me gag a little

I know Daddy longlegs are harmless, but they creep me out the most:

I have no problems stomping on them.
With someone else's shoe, of course.

can't click on that link jaline, but i know what you mean. we get some big ones here and if don't slam them quickly i lose my nerve.
if the legs are any thicker than a daddy longlegs' (and overall bigger than a nickel) then i'm running away, wailing like a schoolgirl. embarrassing and sad, but inevitable

I usually just kill it.
If I can't reach I get my bro to help out.
If there's a mosquito in my room I won't sleep until it's dead or gone. I just hate the buzzing.
- -sputnik-0
i know!! that buzzing will make me crazy! when i was in art school in boston there was no a/c and i had an open window (no screen) in the summer which invited the skeeters in. i didn't have bug spray so i'd use my spray adhesive to stick them against the wall :)
by end of term the walls looked really interesting
- Jaline0
omg, no netting?
I would've just bought a fan. I wouldn't risk letting those things in.
