domain.com/rob
but the content is in:
domain.com/users/robcan this be done with .htaccess? and is so, how?
i mean i dont want to do 1 x 1, cause it will work alike myspace (everyone create their username and it redirects byitself)
hope i make myself clear thanks!

Everythings possible, just depends on what level of access you have on your server. If you had full access you would ideally define the web root directory in the virtual servers section of the server config file (httpd.conf). When you have less access (such as shared hosting), then you use control panels or htaccess as the next best solution..

or in some situations you might use a redirect script, such as Location Replace (preferable over a meta refresh, as it erases the refresh page from the browser history)
