"M" is different
- BaskerviIle0
looks a bit DIN esque
- oldelpaso0
looks like a din with a stroke and a funny M...
it could be a free font rip off..
but i doubt it :)
- Crouwel0
another one. close but no cigar though.
- BaskerviIle0
*so doesn't look din like
apart from the R and D
- zedvox0

(May 21 07, 04:30the S is pretty close
the A is a bit lower than DIN... but fuck it.. im sure din will do the job.. no?
- letters20
can look through some old specimens a little later on...
...for now, I'd guess that it could be a wood-cut face scanned in. Certainly faces like Champion gothic are more similar in feel that DIN I believe.
- Crouwel0
ask here. i can't find anything at the common places.
i think it's old and perhaps, indeed, scanned.
or very obscure anyway.
- Concrete0
Didn't think it'd be this troublesome.
Thanks for trying, everyone.
Did you start your new job today Baskerville?
- BaskerviIle0
If I started my new job today Concrete then I wouldn't be on here.
I might have to stop coming here for the first few months of my new job – make myself look good! No, I've got 4 days left of my current job and I start in the new one in 2 weeks (arranged a nice little break between jobs)

Good plan. If you don't mind me asking, where are you going to?
- Gkatz0
Try Trade Gothic LT Bold. It seems that they added a stroke around the font.
- Concrete0
I'll try that. Thanks Gkatz. Nice site/work btw.
- Gkatz0
Thanks. I also noticed that the S has a straight cut unlike Trade Gothic, which has a angled cut at the tips. And the J looks different to. I'm still unclear which font this is. Here's another specimen that looks like what your looking for :: http://www.myfonts.com/fonts/pro…
Good luck.
