if you're trying to get across a feeling of profesiionalism and trust with your prospective clients i'd take that line in your title out about money.
- vwsung18t0
you're right and it's pretty dumb anyway
- oldelpaso0
who's okready?
- vwsung18t0
that's another one of my websites. backfrog is for possible employers. okayready is for possible clients. i haven't finished that site yet.

that big main image that doesn't change may not be necessary, or it may prevent some from not seeing the content under it changing.
just a thought

if okayready is another website company - then i wouldnt have it on your folio site, as it looks like okayready built it, not you - the web designer looking to be hired.

Get rid of the main picture. Totally superfluous. Go straight into your portfolio section. Why bother with a featured works section. Just take people straight to the work. Get somebody to proof read your site. I presume English isn't your first language so it's worth getting somebody to go through the copy with you. ie; "These are work I've done ..." not good.
I like the way the work appears when you click on a thumbnail though.

me bad at english? that's unpossible

is ssi really a skill you want to list? i dont think most visitors will even know what it is

Your site is not bad in any regards. You work is very solid, yet I think some more spice would help out the site.
You really need to focus on who you want the viewer to be. I felt it was a cross between a personal myspace page/portfolio page. Also there is nothing wrong with showing work that has not been completed for a client. Trying doing different projects and showing how versatile you are. You have some shifting that occurs between pages, it drives me nuts, but on the other most people do not care. Keep up the good work I can not wait to see more. ;)
- vwsung18t0
thanks. what kind of shifting do you see? and what browser/OS are you using?
- dibec0
From the home page to the portfolio page. Watch your left edge. FF (Both on XP & OS X)

(May 16 07, 21:45)my point exactly - get rid of the okready tab - or explain somehwere that u ALSO do stuff as okready..
otherwise it looks like ur a webdesigner who needs others to design his own site.
also get rid of the home page, its like a bit size version of ur folio, which i dont really need to see - if everything else is on the folio section
if ur keeping it, stick some news/blog like thing to it... just having it like an abridged version of ur work before the work page seems a bit silly
