I could see chorizo being a bit powerful with cornbread.
You guys make grits?

I wouldn't really consider you "light in the loafers" considering that k0na was busy rubbin his chest down with foot-longs in the dugout over the weekend

good point, 5 (heh, heh). just for that, i am going to arrange for you to get a private guitar solo from morilla where is is wearing nothing more than leather bondage gear, surrounded by the Vivid girls.
you earned it.

Grits rock.
Use milk instead of water for best results. And use a wisk to blend / stir (never a spoon) - they come out much better.
Throw a little butter and a dash of Tobasco and you're all set.
Oh yeah, Carrot Cake rocks my lame ass, too.

i have not had grits since i was a kid. i've been on a scrapple kick the past few saturdays for breakfast. i don't want to know what's in it. i'm guessing it's some type of magical meat that makes hangovers disappear. it's like a miracle food.

I dont think you want to know at all. I saw some special where they toured the factory and would never say what was in it.
And when they got to the area where the meat was processed, they were led away by men in white coats.

francis, that sounds great.
I sautee some onions and garlic first then make the grits, stir in the garlic and onion and some cheddar cheese.
I always make more so I have leftovers, let them get solid in the fridge and then pan fry those bitches the next day.

LOL, this thread title immediately reminded me of the carrot cake versus carrot muffin conversation we had before.
I guess I shouldn't have been surprised that you started this thread :)
CARROT MUFFINS FTW!

Oh hell yes, MrDob.
They keep well for a day or 2 - makes for a great midnight snack. I always make more than I can eat in one sitting.
I've never tried the onions and garlic route, but it sounds really good. I'll give it a try for breakfast tomorrow.
Cheddar is good, but I love pepper jack (I'm a spicy food freak).

By the way, I'm having some of my sister's vanilla cake right now (which we bought since she got accepted into university).
Mmm...

grits... I love em. suck how you can rarely find em at any of the restaurants here in Vegas; even the stores carry mostly shitty instant brands. I love when I visit FL and they're everywhere. I try to eat em with every meal.

I cant sign off on carrot cake muffins. The density in the muffin top is different from the foot and its distracting. Carrot Cake however is pure joy through and through.

did you use the same hand to eat it?

(May 14 07, 11:09)yes. you'll find that when you're to the point the you'll jerk off a hobo for cornbread hygiene ain't exactly high up on the priority list.
side note: i enjoy typing something so disgusting that kona says "good lord" =D
