craziness with the two sets .... great pics .... and all that Stoltz v. MJF is interesting......how things have an affect on history
in an alternate timeline, it might have been BIFF!

Wasn't entirely shot with Stoltz to my knowledge but J Fox was intended but unavailable from memory. on the dvd series fox explains he worked family ties night and the film during the day, reckons 3 hours sleep a night at some points and he was constantly tired.
nice pics, it would've been nice to wander around in that lot in 2 time periods!

they orginally wanted MJF, but he was too busy playing Alex P Keaton, so they started shooting...
i guess Stoltz wasn't cutting it, so they worked out some insane schedj for MJF to play Marty.
thank god.

that was cool.
It makes sense to build the 1950s one first....
What do you mean the movie was shot entirely with a different actor?!?!?

There are awesome!!
Thanks a lot, I cannot wait to link up my cousins to these, haha.
There is barely a week that goes by, that I do not reference this movie (the trilogy) in some way or the other.
You really brightened up my already bright day!!!

wow Geith, those have to be some of the coolest pics ever. It's one of my favourite films, I'd have loved to have been around to have seen the set and the various rebuilds. A cousin of mine visited universal at the time they were shooting bttf 2 &3 which they shot back to back. Man, those are some good films.

Brilliant... you've just saved me loads of time, have been looking for a style of kitchen doors for ages and haven't been able to point out a good example to get them built...
