already gives me the broken quicktime logo on the first movie.
but then, maybe it is time for me to embrace the future and stop using netscape 4.0.3

I am whipping around in a 2008 Dodge Avenger for the time being until I get my shitty car fixed and able to be traded-in ...
...
These things are an absolute piece of crap, haha. The only thing good about them is that when I hit the gas, it goes, and when I hit the brakes ... it stops.
Which was always 50/50 for each in my 92 Accord.

speakin of cars...
Which would you guys choose?
Audi A3 3.2 S-line
or
Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution
- madirish0
A3 hands down. but now that ou bring it up, which Evo generation? VII, VIII??
- jox0
Better comparison would be A3 2.0T vs. Evo in terms of modability. 3.2 is smooth in a non-exciting sort of way.
2.0T is more fun and can be pretty damn fast.
But whatever engine, Audi > Mitsu. Always.

Exactly Jox. that's why i was asking what gen Evo. ;)
the 3.2 is pretty smooth powerband and while fun, not nearly tuneable as the 2.0T of course.
the Mitsu is a pretty rigid ride as well. it is thought to be a handful on the highway for any lengths or time, where the Audi will win hands down everytime there.

Evo IX...
Agreed that the A3 2.0T is a better comparison to the Evo IX in the ability to mod it. Only drawback I see in the A3 2.0T is no all wheel drive which is key to me living in New England. Can't beat the fun of driving with all wheel drive in snow.
Evo IX hands down beats most cars on the road... but the interior is pretty weak. Then again I know getting the Evo wouldn't be about a nice interior...
A3 3.2s are super nice. But I guess the question would be the possibility of moding it in the future. I have heard of some Canadian shops chipping them... Hoping GIAC comes out with a nice chip for the 3.2.
Putting in a turbo would null any kind of warranty...damn, can't decide.

beh. evo 4 is the best evo.
i think there is way more you can do to evos then new a3's. the 4g63 engine has been around for like 10 years.
an evo or sti is more for racing(handling/power) a3 is more for sporty relaxing (comfort)
- madirish0
the Evo 4 was never brought to north america.
New England you say? i hear ya. Quattro is where it's at! :)
i forgot the 2.0T is only FWD here, sucks too. but for the money, i think you could build a seriously awesome, relable A4 Avant 2.0T from 2000-2002 that would rip.
but, if it really is between the two, i say the A3. chips are a garenteed.
