I have a client that is pretty set on having a flash intro but also wants to ensure easy crawling (oxymoron i know). The rest of the site will most likely be html (though it could be an all flash site i guess). Do any of you have good solutions for SEO and flash?
Many thanks.

CSS Alt content with the SWFobject embed technique (search around for this)
Maybe repeat the nav in html somewhere if possible.
Nothing really elegant unfortunately.

if you are using swfobject, then add a link to the content in the noscript tag.

Yes, use SWFobject or similar solution.
You basically want to use Javascript to check/display Flash for Humans, and have html/divs underneath for Robots.

That's what i was thinking. I was just a little worried that it might seem like cloaking.
Cheers.

Flip the content when the Flash is finished I would have thought.

They're right, use the SWF Object and build in the content to the area that will contain the flash. This way the robots will see the "content" and the Flash enabled humans will see the "flash".
