  i dont watch 'TV' anymore..i spend all my time here...

  i hate when people say...'i dont have time to sit in front of a computre for an hour to watch a movie' ummm...so you do this on a towerless/hardriveless television?? - um ok... tapes are out, vinyl's out thanks to programs on your comp.

  dont get me wrong before i go to sleep on sunday i watch Sopranos and Entourage ... i wanna know who else doesnt care for 'tv' entertainment anymore and have switched to just internet...rather than cable

  i have intermittent broadband with Sky for only 65 quid a month... So I get to watch West Ham from the comfort of my sofa, even though a season ticket probably isn't much more!

  oh...

  television is fraudulent i hate seeing one race...especially that one, i've been seein it all my life...

  so here i go watching 'only' Asian Cinema , excessive Casshern / Ping Pong / 3Iron movies made me appreciate another race for once in my life even tho its not my own..i guess

  I have a 60", but my parents use it most of the time.

  And they wouldn't approve of all the HBO and Showtime programming I watch, hahaha.

  So I prefer watching television on my laptop, yes.

  as to the original question, I'm pretty close to living without TV...
  I've got two young kids, so it's not an option really right now, as they both like to see 'treehouse tv' (young canuck parents will know what i'm talking about..)
  but as for myself...I dont' really watch much anymore, and once the kids and my wife are asleep, i either read a book, or do some design work before bed..its more entertaining to be online than watch tv....

  I got um high the other night with my cousin...

  and we ended up in a pretty interesting discussion about how everything on the television was an advertisement.

  TV shows advertise products & services now. Its crazy.

  I remember when there used to be an article in the Daily News the day after the Sopranos aired to discuss the product that was "placed" in the episode. Now its full blown with Top Model & Extreme Home Makeovers...

  I just turn on my PC when I get home.
