I thought I remembered seeing one on there somewhere... I had a device one of our printers gave us to use with their own kodak approval software, which sucked, but I found that that the ColorEyes worked with it, even though it had a different name

well, huey doesnt work with it. i wish i got a spyder, it was £5 cheaper at the time but huey had just come out with better packaging and the ambient light sensor gimmick, which pulled me in.

Or... would it be just /our/ luck if a torrent shows up just as /your/ huey pro comes in the mail?
hint hint.. nudge nudge... push push... woof.

Something tells me theres going to be a torrent on demonoid later. Just a guess, I might be wrong. But just keep your eyes open ;D

Ok, here's my expierence with the huey pro upgrade. I bought it. Ugh, I can't believe I actually payed money for it, its nice but it sure aint worth the money.
So, I run the windows installer and I get a message stating I need to buy the new piece of hardware and was redirected to a page where I can do so!!!
BUT! No worries, it turns out you don't have to pay another penny, you're /really/ redircted to a page where you can download a firmware update and essentially have a huey pro piece of hardware.
Next up: the calibration process which is pretty much the same. There is a new step which I assume is for crt screens and after you do the usual.... "stick your huey on the screen" part, you get asked to name your new ICC profile and then it moves on to ask what white point you'd like (d50, d60, d75) and also which gamma (1.8, 2.2, 2.4) and thats about it. It asks the usual "would you like to use the ambient sensor" thing and there you have it. Not worth the money like I said, I wouldn't buy it. If I already hadn't that is.
DAMN!
Oh, new tab in the options panel too, you can choose how frequently you'd like a calibration reminder, options are between 1-14 days or not at all...
Thats all folks!

*I did not want to post that twice.
And as for torrents... pah! Stealing scum bags... I would never go down that path, in fact I don't even know what 'torrents' are.

I was talking to huey support and it turns out that the firmware download that you use its tied to your specific huey. This kinda sounded bad and it scared me.
For some random reason, soon afterwards, the torrents were pulled. Random eh?
