"I hope this isn't some Columbine anniversary thing. That's coming up in a few days. I only remember that because it's on my birthday. :/"
also the Oklahoma bombing is on April 19.
I also hope no connections to these anniversaries...
april is becoming such a sad month... my birthday is on April 22.

Rock control
Sharpened stick control
Stick with sharpened rock at the end control
Bow and Arrow control
Knife control
Sword control
Gun controlEvery age since the dawn of time has contemplated some sort of weapon control dating back to the beginning of time when one caveman chose to pick up a rock and throw it at another and look at where we are today.
So sad.

but I agree with you.

sputnik... you surprised that I hate guns... or surprised that I think the B.O.R. is used as a crutch?
...or both? :)
- Jaline0
agreed, lvl.

Guns are not the issue, If I wanted too, I could go to my living room, grab one of my samurai swords, walk into a crowded place and go at it that way, but then again im not some nut job psycho.
from what i heard on MSNBC not too long ago was, the college was warned in the past that he was a danger to society by some kind of agency, and the school did nothing. (if someone can find a link, hook it up.)

why is everyone neglecting the reasons he pointed out? so the guy leaves a clear message of hatred - pointing his reasons - and people start debating weather guns are best sold over the counter or under it?

"You should really consider giving this domain name to the Virginia Tech family. They could use it as a memorial to Cho's victims."
WTF....yeah...I'm so sure they'd want to use his name on the site...

In a country where guns are widely available because it's "a constitutional right" each massacre becomes less and less surprising.

And now some of the news caster douche bags are trying to stir the shitstorm. Asking questions about safety and preparation. Here we go with upping the ante on fear culture.

the 16th amendment says we are not to be taxed if it is not apportioned
that doesn't stop the IRS, actually nothing does

Gucci, the Montreal one?
- PonyBoy0
guns don't kill people...
... the government does.

I had to turn all news off, it infuriates me the way these networks are pandering to the sadness.

That guy wasn't rebelling against the kids in college he was rebelling against American Nationalism. He used the 'american way' i.e. the gun to make his point. Granted he was obviously not the full shilling and unfortunatley he communicated his anger through violence. He felt detached and stranded by society. The gun gave him a voice.

yeah when people are shot in a lecture hall I would think that would call for a lock down...espically when they don't know where or who the shooter is
at my school there are cops guarding the residence halls main entrance not student RAs
I would think that would be a common sense move
and we are not talking about some small po dunk school we are talking about a major university with what 25000 students
- IRNlun60
dukie, that's alot to ask for. this can happen anywhere; highschool, college, work place, mall... should there be a lock down policy for every public place?
