i have a desktop(pc) and a couple laptops at home - I have wireless internet.
I would like to be able to transfer files from one computer to another wirelessly.
how do i do this?

join them all to the same workgroup and right click the folders you would like to share and go to sharing & security and share them with the rest of the workgroup.

so i gave my desktop and my laptop the same workgroup name as per the link you sent, then designated one folder on each to share, then restarted both computers.now how do i access the folder?

oh, figured it out - click on 'ny network places'.

right on dude, it is pretty simple really, now go out and get VNC. install it on all of the machines and remote control all of your shits from anywhere in the house.
